        The book of Leviticus contains God’s instructions to His chosen nation, Israel, on how they were to worship Him. It contains detailed instructions about the duties of the priests as well as instructions on observing and obeying God’s Law and the sacrificial system. God designated seven specific feasts that Israel was to celebrate each year. According to vain Jewish tradition, the Feast of Trumpets, (Lev. ), or Rosh HaShanah, is the beginning of 10 Days of Awe (Yamim Noraim) that end with Yom Kippur or the Day of this time, God supposedly weighs every man’s work to determine who will be written in His books, who will live and die, who will have a good life or a bad life for the next year.
